Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Completes entry level assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities. Applies academic knowledge and training in the use of various building materials and systems. Works under the direction of a project architect; receives specific and detailed instruction as to required tasks and results. Performs elementary architectural assignments and generally works from designs of others, compiles data, performs simple design studies and evaluations, estimates quantity take-offs, and assists in preparation of cost estimates with increasing responsibility based on performance. Drafts own and others designs into completed working drawings. May be assisted by a CADD designer but usually assumes no responsibility for direction of others. Travel required. Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments. Qualifications Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree required License track preferred With little or no practical working experience.
