Job Description

Adventure Club is the Parkway-Rockwood Community Education Department's before and after-school program. We run school-age programs in all 37 Elementary Schools in Parkway and Rockwood School Districts.

We are looking for fun-loving, caring staff to work before and/or after school during the 24/25 school year. Early morning hours are great for retirees, parents, and college students as well as anybody looking for supplemental income. Schedules work nicely around college classes and provide an opportunity to get a foot in the door in two desirable school districts. We have both part-time Activity Assistant positions available before school and after school.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating a fun, learning environment for students, supervision & direction of staff, and student safety.

Qualifications:

• Ability to keep children safe, demonstrate patience, communicate clearly, and utilize good judgment.
• Experience working with children is preferred, but not necessary.
• Willingness to demonstrate flexibility, accept direction, and take initiative.
