We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to prepare and apply paint through a unique process that requires highly focused attention to detail in both preparation of paint materials and the application process.

Responsibilities

• Reading instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
• Prepping surfaces by cleaning
• Mixing paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
• Applying paint
• Following all safety procedures including proper use of equipment
• Ensuring paints and supplies are stocked and ordered as necessary
• Conducting cleanup and maintenance of painting equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a industrial painter
• Knowledge of different paint compositions and mixtures, as well as the ability to select the appropriate paint for each job based on its properties and the surface material.
• High level of precision to ensure painting is performed within the defined lines and margins

• Work Environment: The role requires working in a paint booth.

• Strong physical stamina to stand and reach for extended periods of time.
• Good team player with effective communication skills to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify any issues that may arise during the painting process.

Shifts

1. Shift 1 is 4:15am to 2:30pm
2. Shift 2 is 2:15pm to 12:45pm

Compensation

• Pay range is from $18.00 an hour to $22.00 an hour, depending on experience.
