IT Data Engineer - Westcor Land Title Insurance Company Join to apply for the IT Data Engineer - Westcor Land Title Insurance Company role at Westcor Land Title Insurance Company Description Role Type: Hybrid - must be able to commute to our Maitland, FL office Position Summary In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data processes within our Data Warehouse/Data Lake environments. You should have a strong foundation in ETL systems, SQL development, and relational databases. Your work will ensure the efficiency and reliability of our data pipelines, directly contributing to project success. A background in data analysis and visualization, with expertise in SQL, is essential. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights and support data-driven decisions. Responsibilities Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders on data flows, scripts, and models using SQL, SnapLogic, and other ETL tools, optimizing performance and reliability. Assist in developing and testing new features, models, or data processes in our data warehouses, leveraging feedback for continuous improvement. Document data processes, models, and workflows for internal knowledge sharing and learning. Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the data lifecycle by implementing validation and cleansing processes. Maintain security protocols and data governance practices to ensure compliance. Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in ETL projects and data environments. Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSRS, or similar tools. Implement best practices in data governance and validation to ensure data quality and integrity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on SQL development (MS SQL Server preferred). Proficiency in relational databases and data querying techniques. Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data integration. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work independently or in teams.
