    What You'll Do:
  • Provide walk-in pediatric care for non-emergency illnesses and injuries
  • Diagnose and treat conditions like fever, flu, strep, minor injuries, rashes, ear infections, and more
  • Perform minor procedures (e.g. suturing, splinting, breathing treatments)
  • Counsel families and educate them on follow-up care and prevention
  • Work in a fast-paced, tech-forward clinic with ECW EHR

What You'll Need to Join Our Team:

Licensure & Education

• • Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Virginia
  • Master's degree from an accredited PA or NP program
  • PALS Certification - Required
  • DEA License - Preferred

Experience

• • Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatrics (urgent care, emergency room, or outpatient)
  • Hands-on experience with common pediatric procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, etc.
  • Comfortable using electronic health records - familiarity with eClinicalWorks (ECW) preferred
  • Solid knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - 1 year required

Preferred Skills

• • Spanish-speaking or bilingual - preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-centered bedside manner
  • Confident working independently in a fast-paced, walk-in clinic setting
