Job Title: Plumber Apprentice Technician
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Plumber Apprentice Technician. As an apprentice, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential properties. You will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become a qualified plumber.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and repair of water supply, drainage, and heating systems
- Follow blueprints and building codes to ensure accurate and efficient plumbing installations
- Perform basic plumbing duties, such as cutting, measuring, and connecting pipes
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with plumbing systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in plumbing technology
- Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure job sites are safe for workers and clients
- Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or questions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a related field preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)
