Title: Selenium Automation Architect (W2 Contract) Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) W2 contract only, no C2C/C2H Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic automation architect passionate about quality and automation. The architect will be responsible for delivering comprehensive automation test infrastructure/tools, adhering to best practices. They will coach quality engineers to excel in automation and lead test strategy, script design, execution, and framework development to reduce testing costs, increase coverage, and shorten cycles. Responsibilities Define, develop, and implement a test automation strategy and infrastructure. Coordinate with engineering teams to align automation strategies and recommend improvements. Streamline automation suites for UI and API in CI pipelines. Provide technical leadership and coaching to SDET and QA Automation Engineers. Conduct automated functional, regression, and smoke tests; analyze results and report. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation activities. Design solutions for test data and artifact management. Must Have Experience 10+ years in software testing, development, or related fields. 5+ years in architecting test automation frameworks. Experience building and driving test automation solutions from scratch. Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Serenity, Rest Assured, Karate, Appium, XCUItest. Proficiency in Java or Python, OOP, and automation design patterns. Experience with Git, Jenkins, Selenium Grid, cloud infrastructure, and database systems like Oracle or SAP HANA. Strong understanding of software development, TDD/BDD, and test management tools like JIRA. Passion for quality and automation, creativity, and excellent communication skills. Preferred Additional Skills Performance testing automation, Docker, Kubernetes, algorithms, SAP technologies. Education & Experience Bachelor's in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MOOC certifications or Master's degree are pluses. Graduates from top engineering universities are preferred.
