Job Description

Our client is expanding and looking to hire a Social Media Manager. This individual sits onsite 5x a week in Bergen County and will be split across 2 brands. While this is a full-time position with benefits, this candidate will be an hourly employee and will be eligible for $1200/month in bonuses if business goals are met.

Job Summary: You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all social media platforms, developing strategies to enhance brand visibility, and fostering customer engagement to drive business growth. Additionally, you will manage screen content for TV and boards and create compelling content for various social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and drive traffic to the Company.
  2. Manage and maintain all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across channels.
  3. Create engaging and visually appealing content
  4. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and use insights to optimize content and strategies for maximum impact.
  5. Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to align social media efforts with overall business objectives and campaigns.
  7. Manage screen content for TV and boards, ensuring that content is relevant and engaging.
  8. Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages across social media channels in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a positive brand image and fostering customer relationships.
  9. Complete weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, detailing uploads per platform, number of followers, likes, shares, and any other relevant metrics. Submit reports to Sales Manager for review at weekly meeting.
  10. Flexibility to split time between 2 companies is required (60%, 40%).
  11. Communicate regularly with departmental heads and upper management to report on social media performance, discuss any issues or concerns, and collaborate on strategies for improvement.
  12. Ensure that media equipment is provided for company use and maintain it in good working conditions.
